The free case check
The VIN and eligibility check is free and does not create an attorney-client, public-adjuster, insurance-agent, or appraisal relationship. We may decline a case or ask for human review instead of offering checkout.
The paid report
If the answers match Donut’s eligibility rules, Donut may offer a human-reviewed diminished-value market evidence report for a $199 flat fee through Stripe-hosted checkout. Eligibility at checkout is based on the information you provide and remains subject to document review. The report may find little or no diminished value and does not guarantee insurer payment. We begin paid work only after Stripe confirms payment. Most reports are delivered within two business days after we have the complete documents and details.
Refunds
If Donut cannot produce the report after reviewing your documents, or Donut cancels before delivery, the $199 report fee is refunded in full. After a completed report is delivered, fees are nonrefundable except where required by law or when Donut agrees that the service was not delivered as described.
What Donut does
We organize verified facts, research source-linked advertised vehicles, document adjustments, calculate a market-evidence conclusion, and provide a PDF for you to review and use.
What Donut does not do
Donut does not provide legal advice, interpret policy coverage, determine deadlines, act as your insurer representative, negotiate, submit a claim for you, or guarantee that an insurer will pay any amount. You remain responsible for reviewing and sending your claim materials.
Market limitations
Advertised listings are evidence of market positioning, not confirmed sale prices. Third-party listing and history information can be incomplete or change after it is observed. Every report states its sources, assumptions, observation dates, and reviewer.
